On the question of eligibility, he said a person who intends to perform Udhiyah must be a Muslim and must possess a sound intention.
He also said it is important to be knowledgeable about the proper slaughtering rules and to perform the slaughter humanely and correctly.
He further addressed the question of whether women are permitted to slaughter the ram, answering in the affirmative.
A woman may also slaughter, he said, so long as she meets the conditions required for performing the slaughter.
