UI Announces Accommodation Process for Returning Students

The University of Ibadan has announced the accommodation process for returning students ahead of the 2025/2026 academic session.

The announcement was made through a memorandum issued by the Student Affairs Division and signed by the Dean of Students, Professor Demola Lewis.

According to the memorandum, all returning students seeking accommodation are required to complete the University Health Service (UHS) Requisite Form and upload a scanned copy of their Jaja Card via the link provided: https://tinyurl.com/3h4unc8h.

The deadline for completing the UHS Requisite Form is 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, 11 February 2026, with no extension allowed.

“There will be no extension for the completion of the UHS Requisite Form,” the memorandum stated.

The memorandum described the completion of the form as a critical requirement for accommodation consideration.

It further stated that the UI portal for accommodation application will be open from Friday, 13 February to Thursday, 19 February 2026, for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The memorandum also warned students against falsifying information or documents, noting that such actions would attract severe penalties in line with university regulations.

“Falsification of information will attract severe penalties in accordance with UI regulations,” the memorandum warned.
