POEM: To Our Dear Freshmen

To our dear freshmen, cheers to a new beginning!
On this path you have chosen, you deserve a cheer.

On this new journey you have embarked upon,
Uphold what is right and just.
Remember, your Lord is All-Seeing.

Dare to dream like the dauntless Muslim that you are.
Embrace opportunities as much as you can, for this phase is transient.
And in the midst of trials,
Remember, your Lord has promised ease after hardship.

Flagbearer of Islam, that is your identity.
Remember this in every corner you find yourself,
Especially when the road becomes difficult.
Surely, He will remember you if you remember Him.
Have fun, but keep your fun halal.
Make companions who remind you of Allah and strengthen your faith.
Elevated you will be if you remain steadfast,
Never forget the purpose that brought you here.
