Poem: She, The Path to Jannah
Azeezah Durotola
April 13, 2026A female I am, a blessing and more,
Painting the world with strength and love’s core.
A special gift, beyond all price or dime,
A flower destined to bloom in her own time.
I light the lives of my people with grace,
Shaping the world with beauty in place.
Ravishing in armour, yet gentle at the core,
A blessing to all who have eyes to adore.
The world once shook to welcome me,
A proof of divine love, pure to see.
My skin wrapped modestly in a shawl,
A dazzling pearl, bringing joy to all.
Every journey in my life holds mystery,
Guarding my dignity, walking in purity.
Then came menses — her pain and her test,
Yet I rise each day with faith in my chest.
Patiently I wait and let destiny unfold,
Laying paths to Jannah with a heart consoled.
For my parents, who raised a girl so pure;
For my husband, whose faith I endure.
For my children, whom I guide with His words,
Their Jannah beneath my feet, by His grace assured.
Good deeds towards me, the heavens record,
A place in Jannah, their faithful reward.
I walk with faith through joy and strain,
If it grants my parents eternal gain,
And gives my children the sweetest stay,
In Jannah’s light that fades no day.
The reward of raising a daughter pure,
Is a treasure the heavens keep secure.
For I am she — the mercy unseen,
A jewel entrusted by the Lord of A’lameen.
