Poem: My Admin
SEKONI Dairo Raehanah
February 01, 2026I finger-scroll through shadows,
But my heart longs for nūr.
My fingers type on sand,
While the Qur’ān keeps waiting,
Alive, unbroken, everlasting.
I keep staring at the screen,
Like a lost shepherd.
Lonely. Unheard. Just there.
Unaware a bigger picture awaits,
Ready to embrace me.
Life flows,
Still searching for its path,
Like a river.
But my screen is a dead pond,
It never reflects my soul,
Only my face.
The Qur’ān never stops calling,
Its verses flowing like water,
Its words, guidance,
Its light, home.
But I never yielded.
“Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.”
I kept searching for a connection,
Not knowing it lay upon my prayer mat.
Not knowing sujūd
Was the password
To the strongest network.
Then I found a connection.
But guess what?
It was never lost.
It had always been there.
For Allah,
The Admin of my server,
Never leaves me offline.
