Assalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

All praises and adoration are due to Almighty Allah, the uncreated Creator of all creatures. I beseech His utmost blessings and mercy upon the noble soul of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

We thank Allah (SWT) for the blessings of life, the guidance of Islam, and the opportunity He has bestowed upon you to be among the successfully admitted students of the University of Ibadan. It is not by your power, it is Allah's blessings upon you.

I formally welcome each and every one of you to this institution of learning.

Pearls of Paradise, remember that your primary assignment on this campus is to excel in your various fields, while also never forgetting your purpose of creation, which is ibaadah. You must learn to be successful in both worlds. That is why we have a series of spiritually uplifting and educational programmes designed for you.

Our "Sisters' Day Out" comes up every first semester, featuring inspiring lectures, bonding among sisters, health sessions, and relationship talks.

Our Sisters' Circle programme comes up fortnightly, where you will learn more about the Deen, revolving around Islamic knowledge.

A programme you cannot afford to miss is the "Sisters' Seminar", which takes place during the second semester. The previous one was themed "Auric Lustre".

The Sisters' arm of the Central Executive Council also runs a business branded "AMAAN", where we sell bedsheets with pillowcases, liquid soap, and fruit salad.

We pray that Allah blesses you, eases your affairs, and crowns all your efforts with outstanding success. May Allah make Jannah your final abode. Aamin.

Looking forward to our ever-rewarding and fruitful relationship.

Sisterhood till Jannah,
Mutmainah Abdulfatah
