Speaking on ideal leadership, Prof. Uthman praised the 13th Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Professor Kayode Adebowale, describing his approach as an example of ideal leadership.
He acknowledged Professor Adebowale's responsiveness and commitment to institutional success, particularly his support during the accreditation of the university's Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies, despite the challenges.
The Chief Imam also explained that Jihad is not limited to physical combat. It encompasses efforts, actions and services undertaken to please Allah and benefit humanity.
Professor Uthman urged Muslims to approach their activities with the intention of pleasing Allah, seeking his blessings and grace through their efforts and service to humanity
