Blessed Jumu’ah

The moon over the yard shines so bright,
To guide us gently through the night.
Creatures sleep, untouched by fright,
As stars above lead with their light,
An impeccably pure and graceful sight,
So flawless, like the snow so white.

It’s a blessed new day,
Praises to the Almighty, we say,
For showing us the righteous way,
Lest we wander and go astray,
For keeping us unto this day,
To witness this sacred Jumu’ah Friday.

The sun ascends with golden hue,
Painting the sky in vibrant view,
Reminding us to start anew,
With faith so pure to see us through.
In all we strive and dream to do,
Let truth and kindness be our clue.

The call to prayer fills the air,
A soothing moment beyond compare,
Hearts united, pure and bare,
Seeking mercy through earnest prayer.
And with faith and hope, we humbly share
Allah’s infinite blessings everywhere.

So as this Friday gently grows,
May peace be all our hearts know,
In every path our journey goes,
May blessings bloom like the morning rose,
And in our hearts shall forever glow,
A light only An-Nur bestows.
